more about ED

OVERVIEW:
Many times, a combination of psychological and physical issues can cause erectile dysfunction. For example, anxiety can lead to or worsen erectile dysfunction.  Although it is more common to develop ED while you age, age does not cause it. The brain triggers a series of physical events every day, so having stress, anxiety, or depression can play a big role in getting or keeping an erection. Other times, ED can be caused by physical ailments, habits, or diseases. These include, heart disease, clogged blood vessels, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, some prescription medications, tobacco use, Peyronie’s disease, alcoholism or other forms of substance abuse, sleep disorders, treatments for prostate cancer or enlarged prostate, surgeries or injuries that affect the pelvic area or spinal cord, and low testosterone.

SYMPTOMS:
Typical symptoms are being able to get an erection, but not every time you want to have sex. Being able to get an erection, but not having it last long enough for sex. Or being completely unable to get an erection. Oftentimes, ED itself may be a symptom of other health related issues, so it is important to treat the underlying cause of the issue.  With our acupuncture treatments, we relax the nervous system, nourish hormones, balance emotions, along with improving energy and blood flow.

TREATMENT:
At Acupuncture Wellness Services, we use a combination of modalities and techniques to regulate the flow of energy in the body to achieve outstanding results.  The extensive training and experience of our practitioners enables them to successfully blend time-tested and ancient treatment protocols with modern and sophisticated therapies.  One of the greatest benefits of our procedure is the ability to detect and correct energetic sensitivities to foods and the environment that might be creating symptoms in your body.  Each patient is treated individually, and so the combination of techniques is determined at the time of evaluation.  Our treatments integrate well with western medicine, chiropractic, massage therapy, occupational therapy, dental work and nutritional healing.

“My husband has been getting acupuncture for his ED for a few months now, and even though he should be the one writing this, I had to say how much happier he is since getting natural help for this. Jenn was his main practitioner and she made him feel so comfortable, he was able to talk about with her and does not stress about going. According to him, the treatment does not hurt and needles are mainly in the arms and legs. Thank you for helping him!”
