PCOS
Polycystic ovary syndrome, also known as PCOS, is a hormonal disorder which is common in women around the age of reproduction.
Symptoms of PCOS typically start around the time of the first menstrual period but can also develop a little bit later.
With the proper treatment, balancing the body can relieve many symptoms of PCOS.
Do not suffer from a hormonal imbalance any longer.
OVERVIEW:
Polycystic ovary syndrome is a hormonal disorder. With PCOS, many small sacs called cysts develop along the outer edge of the ovary. The small fluid filled cysts contain immature eggs called follicles. When the follicles fail to regularly release eggs, it results in missed, late, or prolonged periods. The exact cause for this is unknown but these factors may play a role: excess insulin, low grade inflammation, heredity, or excess androgen.
SYMPTOMS:
Symptoms of PCOS may vary, but a diagnosis of PCOS is made when you have at least two of the following symptoms: irregular periods, too much androgen, or polycystic ovaries. PCOS signs and symptoms vary from person to person. Other symptoms include irregular or absent periods, painful menstrual cramps, acne, oily skin, fertility problems, unwanted hair growth or hair loss, male-pattern baldness or thinning hair, weight change. Women with PCOS are at higher risk of developing serious health conditions such as high blood pressure, heart and blood vessel problems, and uterine cancer. Balancing the body with proper treatment can relieve many symptoms of PCOS.
